MV CHARGEMAN (33kV) - Construction / M&E

We are looking for a competent and experienced MV Chargeman (33kV) to join our M&E Construction team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain and monitor medium voltage electrical systems and equipment up to 33kV.
• Carry out electrical inspection, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting works.
• Ensure all electrical systems and installations are operated safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain switchgear, transformers, protection systems and related MV equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), safety requirements and project procedures.
• Coordinate with project, electrical and site teams on electrical-related matters.
• Maintain proper records of inspection, testing, maintenance and electrical activities.
• Respond to electrical faults and emergencies at site.
• Perform other duties related to electrical operations as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Chargeman Competency Certificate with 33kV competency.
• Relevant experience in M&E construction / electrical construction projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of MV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers and protection systems.
• Able to work independently and handle site-based electrical operations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work at project sites and perform overtime when required.
• Candidates with relevant experience in 33kV electrical systems are highly encouraged to apply.
