What you'll be doing

1. Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems within the power plant
2. Conduct routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues
3. Coordinate maintenance activities and schedules to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
5. Provide technical guidance and support to the wider team
6. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them

What we're looking for

1. A recognised diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
2. Experienced as an A4 Chargeman or in a similar role within the power generation industry
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and address complex technical issues
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
6. A commitment to safety and a track record of working in compliance with industry regulations
7. A proactive and innovative mindset to continuously improve processes and drive operational excellence
