Job Summary
We are looking for a competent Chargeman A1 to support electrical operations, maintenance and site activities for electrical and mechanical construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring electrical systems are operated safely and maintained in accordance with project and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain electrical systems and equipment at project sites.
• Carry out electrical inspection, troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
• Monitor electrical equipment and ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Assist with electrical testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams, contractors and vendors on electrical matters.
• Check electrical installations and identify defects or abnormal conditions.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns and assist in corrective works.
• Maintain electrical records, checklists and relevant documentation.
• Ensure electrical works comply with safety procedures and project requirements.
• Support site testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Perform other electrical duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Valid Chargeman A1 competency certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
• Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience in electrical or M&E construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment and safety procedures.
• Able to perform electrical troubleshooting and inspection.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work at construction/project sites.
• Willing to work overtime, shifts or on-call when required.
• Fresh A1 Chargeman candidates are welcome to apply.
• Possess own transportation and a valid driving licence.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
