Chargeman A4 - 12 Hours Shift

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing and supervising daily operations and maintenance of critical facilities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient performance.

  • Electrical Systems:

    • With supervision from HT Chargeman maintain and operate both 11KV and LV incomers, 415V switchgear (400A–2000A MCCBs), and 200kVA x 8 Socomec UPS units.
    • Weekly testing of 1500KVA generators and 500kW load bank.
    • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns.

  • HVAC Systems:

    • Monitor 36 precision air-conditioning units (Dunham Bush).
    • Coordinate with external vendors for District Cooling System (Megajana).

  • Building & Infrastructure:

    • Manage plumbing, water filtration, and sewerage systems.
    • Oversee fire protection and water treatment systems.
    • Conduct inspections and repairs for all M&E systems.

  • Contractor Management:

    • Supervise maintenance vendors and contractors for servicing or project work.
    • Ensure timely resolution of power-related issues to avoid operational downtime.

  • Regulatory Liaison:

• Maintain compliance and coordinate with external authorities like BOMBA, SYABAS, TNB, DBKL, JKKP, DOE and Suruhanjaya Tenaga.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Electro-Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or any related discipline
• Must have Chargeman Certificate of at least AO or A4 issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Malaysia.
• At least 5 years hands on experience in critical facility operations/maintenance
• Preferably with working experience in similar set-up (Broadcasting) or critical Building Maintenance Management
• Ability to work on calls during emergency breakdowns
• Ability to work under tight schedules
• Experience in Project Management
