Chargeman A4 (JB)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chargeman A4 to join the engineering team at Knight Frank Property Management in Johor Bharu. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining and overseeing the electrical and electronic engineering systems across our property management operations. As Chargeman A4, you will be responsible for supervising technical teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of electrical infrastructure performance. This position is essential to our commitment to delivering reliable, safe, and efficient facility management services to our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
2. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment and installations to identify defects and maintenance requirements
3. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical equipment, switchboards, distribution systems and related infrastructure
4. Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards, regulations and company safety policies
5. Prepare maintenance reports and documentation of all work undertaken
6. Plan and schedule preventative maintenance programmes for electrical systems
7. Liaise with tenants and building occupants regarding electrical works and maintenance activities
8. Manage inventory of electrical components, tools and spare parts
9. Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior electrical staff
10. Respond promptly to emergency electrical faults and outages

What we're looking for

1. Valid electrical license or certification appropriate for Malaysia (Class A4 or equivalent qualification required)
2. Excellent understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations in Malaysia
