About the role

Repair and maintenance of all facility and equipment related to electrical systems (both heavy and light electric) in all factory areas, including implementing periodical checks of production facilities to maintain HVAC and stable production, planning maintenance activities, and implementing improvement initiatives to upgrade productivity and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of all facility and equipment related electrical (both heavy and light electric) in all factory area
• Implementing periodical check of production facility to maintain HVAC and stable production
• Implementing planning maintenance of production facility to maintain stable production
• Implementing improvement activity to production facility to upgrading of productivity and safety
• Implementing checking and calibration of measurement equipment of production facility
• Implementing daily checking and periodical checking to all HT/LV Room, utility facility in factory to maintain stable operation and 5S
• Implementing daily checking and periodical checking to power distribution equipment in factory to maintain stable supply
• Carry out the facility maintenance by yourself or by using sub-contractor, to fit into its schedule
• Support to liaise with relevant authorities on various utility services and compliance issue
• Manage the electrical work of the project of instalment, relocation, modification or removal of production facility

Requirement

• A4 Competent or Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering with A4 Competency
• Minimum 2–5 years working experience in manufacturing/complex/building maintenance
• Bahasa Malaysia and English language proficiency required; Japanese language knowledge is an advantage
• ISO knowledgeable preferred
• Good knowledge in 8D analysis
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.)
• Ability to read and explain electrical schematic diagrams
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize and manage workloads with multiple priorities
• Registered competency of Chargeman BO-2 with Energy Commission of Malaysia under The Electricity Supply Act and Regulations
