Chargeman / Assistant Chargeman

Requirements

• Possess a valid Certificate of competency as a Chargeman for Low Voltage Systems (A0 - A4) from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Possess good analytical skills, interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
• Must be able to work on rotating shifts.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Fresh qualified holders are encouraged to apply!
• Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance and electrical system operations in a manufacturing environment will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Setup, supervise and manage the operations of the factory facilities system.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Perform repairs on various equipment, including compressors, air dryers, air-conditioning systems, and other machinery as required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status. Prepare detailed maintenance reports and provide updates to the management team.
• Identify areas for improvement in facility operations and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
