About the role

To provide competent control during shift, in-charge and responsible for the daily operation of the electrical equipment for Low Tension Switch Boards in the factory.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repair and modification to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation of the electrical equipment
• Take immediate action to repair any defects and breakdown to the entire electrical installation in the factory
• Ensure safety and efficient operation of all the electrical equipment in the factory
• Control and manage Main Switch Boards for L.T. (415V)
• Manage Sub board and Distribution Fuse Board
• Oversee Capacitor Bank operation
• Manage Electrical Motors and Starters
• Maintain Fire Extinguishers in the switch rooms
• Manage wiring installation and earthing system

About you

• Possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or equivalent
• Possess valid AO Chargeman Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga
• Have experience in handling machine maintenance, modification in Production & electrical wiring
• At least 1-3 years of working experience in the related field, preferably in electrical industry
• Able to work on shift rotation
• Exposure in Total Productive Maintenance is an added advantage
• Skill in PLC system is an added advantage
