Charity Fundraiser – Centrepoint

We're launching a new Centrepoint fundraising team in London in November. Centrepoint is the UK's leading youth homelessness charity: it gives young people with nowhere safe to go a home, support and a way forward, around 15,000 of them a year. Monthly supporters make that possible, and finding them is the job.

£15 an hour guaranteed, paid weekly, with uncapped bonus and weekly incentives on top: on-target earnings are £750 to £850 a week. No fundraising experience needed; we train you.

What the job is

• Talking to the public on busy London streets, and in shopping centres and other private sites through the winter: a different site across Greater London every day, with your team and a Team Leader
• Telling Centrepoint's story well, listening properly, and inviting people to sponsor a room with a monthly gift
• Monday to Friday, 30 guaranteed hours a week, with an optional sixth day. Shifts usually run from 11am to 6pm, or 10am to 5pm through the winter

• An uncapped bonus that rewards supporters who stay, plus weekly incentives worth up to £200. A strong week can clear £1,000
• One day of paid induction training, then coaching on site every day
• A real route up, on merit: Team Leader on £16 an hour with a second bonus on top of your own, then Campaign Manager. Our London Campaign Manager went from fundraiser to running the campaign in ten months, and a new campaign needs new leaders
