Role & responsibilities

Income Tax Compliance

• Handle ITR preparation & filing for individuals, corporates, Non-Charitable Trusts & Section 8 Companies, including tax computation, deductions, exemptions and tax audits.
• Manage TDS compliance, including timely deduction, payment and quarterly returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q & 27EQ), along with Form 16/16A issuance.
• Perform TDS reconciliation between Form 26AS, books of accounts and TDS returns and resolve Income Tax/TDS discrepancies and notices.
• Manage SFT compliance, including identification, validation, reconciliation and timely reporting of high-value/reportable financial transactions.
• Handle Form 15CA/15CB compliance for foreign remittances under Section 195, including TDS applicability/rates and documentation.
• Review foreign remittances and apply DTAA provisions wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with Finance & Accounts teams and resolve queries raised by the Income Tax Department.
