Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 7 years of accounting experience and strong expertise in end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of the entire accounting cycle, from recording financial transactions and maintaining ledgers to preparing financial statements, managing month-end and year-end closures, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.

Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements, including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.

Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment tracking, collections, and outstanding balance monitoring.

Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide insights to support financial decision-making.

Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to resolve accounting queries and maintain smooth financial operations.

Maintain accurate financial documentation and ensure records are organized and audit-ready.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience.

Strong expertise in end-to-end accounting and the complete accounting cycle.

Thorough understanding of journal entries, general ledger, reconciliations, financial statements, and closing procedures.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) is highly preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

High levels of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.

Willingness to work the US night shift from the Kochi Infopark office.
