Chartered Accountant (ICAN)

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong financial controls, and provide strategic financial guidance to management. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of financial regulations and tax requirements.

Job Description

• Manage and oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts, and financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate tax computations, filings, and statutory payments.
• Monitor financial controls and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Support internal and external audit processes and provide required documentation.
• Analyze financial data and provide management with insights for informed decision-making.
• Monitor company expenses, identify variances, and implement cost-control measures.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records.
• Supervise accounting staff and review their work where applicable.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax authorities, suppliers, and other financial stakeholders.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial legislation.

Requirements/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA or equivalent).
• Proven years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
