Chartered Accountant Intern

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate MIS reports and financial analysis for management review.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.

Reconciliations

• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Ensure timely closure of books of accounts.

Compliance & Taxation

• Assist in GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Support preparation and filing of tax returns and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Audit Support

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents required for audits.
• Assist in implementing audit recommendations and process improvements.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Support automation initiatives and finance transformation projects.
