Chartered Building Surveyor

Location: Bristol | Hybrid Working We’re currently working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to join its established Bristol team.

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across both professional Building Surveying services and project management , supporting a diverse range of clients and projects across the South West.

The Role You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of instructions, including:

• Building surveys and technical due diligence
• Condition surveys and planned maintenance programmes
• Dilapidations and schedules of condition
• Defect diagnosis and technical reporting
• Project management and contract administration
• Preparation of specifications and tender documentation
• Procurement and contractor management
• Project delivery from inception through to completion
• Working with both public and private sector clients
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

The role offers genuine variety, with the opportunity to get involved in both professional services and project-led work , rather than being restricted to one particular area of Building Surveying.

About You We’re looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with a strong technical background and experience within a consultancy environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• MRICS qualification
• Solid experience across professional Building Surveying services
• Project management and/or contract administration experience
• Strong technical surveying and reporting skills
• Excellent client-facing and communication abilities
• The ability to manage multiple instructions and projects
• A commercial approach and an interest in developing client relationships
