Chassis Line Worker

We have exciting opportunities at our AL-KO Brandesburton site.

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Chassis Line Operatives to join our production team.

These roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy practical, hands-on work and are comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidates will contribute to the production of high-quality holiday home chassis' while maintaining a strong focus on teamwork, safety, and attention to detail.

Main Duties

• Assemble chassis components and fit parts according to production instructions and technical specifications
• Operate production tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow production schedules and support the team achieve its daily output targets
• Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Identify and report defects, faulty components, and production issues
• Handle materials and components, ensuring they are available at the workstation when required
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments
• Follow standard operating procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Minimise waste and ensure efficient use of materials and equipment

Requirements

• Ability to work safely and follow instructions accurately
• Flexibility with working hours (overtime) and the willingness to work various positions on the line
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environments is desirable but not essential
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Driven to achieve targets as part of a team
• Positive attitude
