Chat Support Specialis

Role Description The Chat Support Specialist is a part-time hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with some flexibility to work from home. This role focuses on providing prompt, accurate, and courteous support to customers via chat, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding users through processes related to products or services. Daily tasks include monitoring incoming chat queues, diagnosing basic technical or account-related problems, documenting interactions, and escalating complex issues when necessary. The specialist collaborates with other support and technical teams to ensure consistent service and contributes to knowledge base updates and process improvements. Regular reporting on recurring issues and customer feedback is also part of the role to help enhance overall service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Support and Communication skills to handle inquiries professionally and maintain a positive customer experience.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to identify issues, provide clear guidance, and escalate more complex problems when needed.
• Analytical Skills to interpret customer concerns, recognize patterns in issues, and contribute to improvements in support processes.
• Proficiency with chat platforms, CRM systems, and basic office software; ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work part-time in a hybrid setup, manage time effectively, and maintain reliability in shift-based work.
• Previous experience in customer service, tech support, or contact center environments is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in IT, business, or related fields is a plus.
