Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management reports
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory filings, and financial reporting standards
• Support internal and external audits
• Monitor cost control and profitability across logistics operations
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ICAN or ACCA certification (chartered status required)
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in logistics, shipping, or a related industry
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (IFRS)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
