Role Description

A Chauffeur is responsible for providing safe, reliable, punctual, and professional transportation services for executives, VIPs, clients, families, guests, or other assigned passengers. The role emphasizes defensive driving, passenger comfort, vehicle care, route planning, discretion, and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing safe and punctual transportation to meetings, airports, hotels, residences, events, appointments, and other destinations.
• Planning efficient routes using GPS, navigation systems, traffic information, and knowledge of local roads.
• Monitoring traffic, weather, road conditions, construction, and potential delays.
• Adjusting routes when necessary to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe, clean, comfortable, and properly maintained.
• Coordinating routine servicing, inspections, repairs, tire checks, fueling, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance activities, journeys, and vehicle-related expenses.
• Assisting passengers with luggage, personal belongings, and entering or exiting the vehicle when appropriate.
• Providing courteous, discreet, and professional service while respecting passenger preferences and privacy.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding passengers, schedules, destinations, conversations, business activities, and personal information.
• Coordinating airport pickups, hotel transfers, corporate transportation, private appointments, and special events.
• Communicating effectively with passengers, executive assistants, reception teams, security personnel, dispatchers, and other relevant contacts.
• Managing transportation schedules and ensuring passengers arrive at destinations safely and on time.
• Handling unexpected situations such as traffic delays, vehicle issues, route changes, and transportation disruptions calmly and professionally.
• Reporting accidents, vehicle damage, traffic incidents, mechanical problems, and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness, presentation, and passenger comfort before and after each journey.
• Supporting transportation requirements for executives, VIP guests, corporate clients, families, and special events.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable traffic laws, driving regulations, company policies, and vehicle-safety requirements.
• Maintaining professional appearance, conduct, punctuality, and communication at all times.
• Using digital scheduling platforms, GPS navigation, traffic-monitoring applications, and transportation-management systems.
• Supporting emergency transportation and contingency arrangements when required.
• Building professional relationships with passengers while maintaining appropriate boundaries and discretion.
• Continuously maintaining high standards of driving safety, reliability, vehicle care, punctuality, customer service, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle category.
• Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, major destinations, airports, hotels, business districts, and residential areas.
• Excellent driving skills and strong knowledge of defensive-driving principles.
