Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Operate cash registers, process retail sales transactions, and handle cash, credit, or digital payments with precision.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food prep areas, counters, and equipment, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Manage food handling procedures responsibly, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and hygiene practices.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while supporting overall food service operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail sales transactions is beneficial.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
• Prior culinary or restaurant experience that demonstrates customer service excellence is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing inventory levels effectively.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
