About us:

Hockerhill is a unique indoor and outdoor adventure play space for children located in Brewood, South Staffordshire. We are a family run start up business aiming to provide a fun, nurturing and educational space for children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Station Support: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team, managing specific stations to ensure timely and efficient meal production.
• Cleaning and Organisation: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
• Learning and Development: Willingness to learn and grow in culinary skills through training and guidance from senior kitchen staff.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Oversee daily kitchen activities, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and food safety protocols.
• Quality Control: Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to uphold the play barn's standards.

Skills:

• Varying levels of experience depending on the position.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, health and safety practices with eagerness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills for all roles.
• Flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Part-time

Pay: From £10.85 per hour
