Chef - Breakfast / Lunch

About the role

Stassano perfectly blends classic Italian style with a fresh, modern twist - a modern Italian deli, wine bar and eatery. If you are passionate about preparing fresh, high-quality food and enjoy working as part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you. This is a 25hr per week (average) position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present breakfast dishes, sandwiches, cabinet food and other menu items safely to Stassano standards
• Complete daily preparation and ensure ingredients and workstations are ready for service
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and presentation standards
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleaning and organisation
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, ingredient levels and reducing food waste

About you

• Previous experience preparing breakfast, sandwiches or cabinet food in a commercial kitchen
• A good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
• A reliable, positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required
