Louie’s Café & Wine Bar is looking for an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ professional kitchen experience and be confident preparing both café-style dishes and tapas.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking a high-quality café and tapas menu
• Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
• Working efficiently during busy service periods
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
• Managing food preparation and ensuring smooth service
• Working as part of a team while also being able to work independently

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ professional chef experience
• Previous experience preparing tapas is essential
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment
• Reliable, organised and passionate about food
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Comfortable working a mixture of day and night shifts
• Weekend availability is essential
