Chef

5th Earl Rosebery is looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team at our busy café and dining venue located in The Cannery, Rosebery.

We serve breakfast, brunch and lunch throughout the week, as well as dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. Our menu includes modern café favourites, pasta, steaks, burgers, salads and other fresh, quality dishes.

The role will include:

• Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard
• Managing your section during busy service periods
• Maintaining consistency, presentation and portion control
• Following food safety and hygiene requirements
• Assisting with preparation, stock rotation and kitchen organisation
• Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team
• Keeping work areas clean and organised

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working as a Chef in a busy café or restaurant
• Can work confidently under pressure
• Is reliable, punctual and organised
• Has strong food safety and hygiene standards
• Works well as part of a team
• Takes pride in the quality and presentation of their food

Availability across weekdays and weekends is preferred, particularly Friday and Saturday evenings.
