Job summary:

Minimum 3 year of relevant work experience required for this role as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment

Expected salary: $75,000 T0 $85,000

Full time hours

Looking for candidates who are available to work:

• Evening (Dinner) Shifts
• breakfast shifts when accommodating Tours and Coaches
• Weekend shifts
• Work visa can be provided for this role
• This job requires an immediate start

About the role:

We are seeking experienced Chef's to join our team at the:

GRE Hilltop Motel incorporating Betina's Restaurant and GRE Silver Haven Motel incorporating The Haven Restaurant in Broken Hill, NSW.

This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our guests in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

Preparing delicious and visually appealing meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients

Ensuring all food preparation and cooking is done in line with health and safety standards

Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain an efficient and organised workflow

Assisting with menu planning and developing new dishes

Maintaining a clean and well-organised kitchen environment

Contributing to a positive team culture and exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment

Diploma of Hospitality Management (required) Certificate 3 or 4 Commercial Cookery (required)

Exceptional culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Good communication and teamwork skills

Passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to provide an exceptional dining experience
