Chef

About the role

We are looking for a Chef with responsibility, attention to quality and detail of food, emphasis on food cleanliness and safety, and the ability to maintain consistent work standards in the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and restaurant standards
• Control quality, taste, and consistency of food
• Prepare, inspect, and store ingredients hygienically
• Monitor temperature in food storage and cooking
• Prevent cross-contamination between foods
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, equipment, and tools
• Follow Food Hygiene and Food Safety standards of the restaurant
• Work with the kitchen team to provide efficient service
• Reduce ingredient waste and maintain food management standards

About you

• Thai nationality
• Good physical health and able to work in a kitchen
• Experience working in food or related kitchen
• Basic knowledge of Food Hygiene, Food Safety and Personal Hygiene
• Understanding of cross-contamination prevention principles
• Knowledge of food storage and temperature control
• Passed Food Handler Training course with valid certification
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work as a team
• Able to comply with restaurant hygiene and food safety standards
• Culinary Certificate / Diploma (preferred)
• Can Speaking Chinese
