We're looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join the team at Acqua Restaurant & Bar, located right on the beautiful Caloundra waterfront.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
• Checking ingredients and food quality
• Using ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Assisting with food preparation, plating and presentation
• Preparing meals for dietary requirements when needed
• Helping with food storage and stock rotation
• Assisting our chefs with menu planning and food preparation
• Supporting apprentices and other kitchen team members
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team and during busy service periods
• Pride in producing quality food and maintaining high standards
• Reliable, hardworking and well presented
