About the role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our team at the Leonay Golf Club in Leonay, NSW. This is a full-time role that will play an integral part in the day-to-day kitchen operations, assisting the catering team in delivering high-quality meals to our members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting the Chef team in all food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Following recipes and cooking methods precisely to ensure consistency in food quality
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to efficiently execute menu items
• Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday
• 40 Hour work week

About you

• Relevant experience as a chef or in a similar kitchen role
• Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or a related field
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to grow your culinary skills
