Chef

• Preparing ingredients as well as the seasoning indicated in the recipe.
• Responsible for preparing the order of the guests.
• Ensure that there are available stocks in the food storage as well as checking the food quality.
• Receiving deliveries from suppliers and ensuring that it is received in a good quality.
• Coordinating with kitchen staff in dissemination of relevant information with relation to changes in recipes, menu and other related stuff.
• Measuring precisely the ingredients needed and indicated in the recipe
• Performing inventory and discarding expired items stored in the kitchen and food storage.
• Responsible in maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen area.
• Responsible in reporting maintenance issues especially broken kitchen equipment.
• Perform variety of tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables.
• Maintaining and ensuring a healthy and safe kitchen environment.
• Monitor weekly and monthly food cost and food wastage.
• Prepare and suggest top quality menu
• Others duties that may reasonably assigned and required.

Qualifications:

• Able to do multi-tasking and prioritize work effectively.
• Able to demonstrate flexibility.
• Knowledgeable in different sections of kitchen.
• Able to work with team and excellent management skills.
• Knowledge in food safety and health regulations.
• Knowledge in food preparation and preservation.
• Knowledge and familiarity in kitchen fundamentals and procedures of inventory.
