Chef

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Indian Restaurant Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Prepare Indian curries, biryanis, tandoori dishes, naan, kebabs, gravies, and other traditional dishes.
• Ensure all food is prepared with good quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Maintain proper portion sizes and minimize food wastage.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before cooking.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, ingredients, and recipes.
• Ability to prepare food consistently during busy service periods.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and follow food safety regulations.
• Monitor food stock and inform the supervisor/manager when ingredients need to be replenished.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely food preparation.
• Follow proper food storage, temperature control, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Assist in creating and improving menu items when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
