- Confidently take responsibility for kitchen service when the Kitchen Manager is unavailable.
- Maintain consistency in portion control, presentation and food quality.
- Assist with stock control, stock rotation and reducing food waste.

- Ensure food hygiene, allergen procedures and health and safety standards are followed at all times.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.
- Help train and support less experienced members of the kitchen team.
- Contribute ideas for dishes, specials and menu development.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and presentation.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working as a Chef in a busy pub, restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
- Is confident across food preparation, cooking and service.
- Has a good understanding of food hygiene, allergens and kitchen health and safety.
- Can remain organised and calm during busy services.
- Is capable of taking responsibility and making sensible decisions when required.

- Can support and motivate other members of the kitchen team.
- Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food.
- Is reliable, punctual and professional.
- Is flexible and able to work a mixture of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef who wants to be an important part of a developing kitchen team. For the right person, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibility and progress within the role as the business and kitchen team continue to develop.
