About the role

Blackout Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join the kitchen team on a full-time basis. This is a long-term opportunity for someone serious about their craft who wants to grow with a fast-paced, high-standard venue specialising in Modern Middle Eastern & Indian-inspired cuisine.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute high-quality dishes
• Maintain consistency in presentation, taste, and portion control
• Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
• Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
• Manage prep, stock rotation, and minimise wastage
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams

About you

• Diploma in hospitality is mandatory
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef
• Strong understanding of flavour profiles, presentation, and kitchen operations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Weekend availability is mandatory
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
