Chef

The Australian Ambassador to the Philippines (Head of Mission or HOM) is seeking a highly motivated person to fill the position of Chef at the Ambassador's residence.

The Chef is responsible for planning and preparing creative and well-executed menus for formal and in-formal functions hosted by the Ambassador and family members at the residence and other venues. Formal and informal functions can include a large number of guests that may have a variety of health or dietary requirements. The successful candidate should have high level of creativity, a passion for food, be able to produce healthy high quality meals and the ability to prepare a variety of cuisines including the flexibility to learn new cuisines.

Terms of Employment

The successful applicant is expected to commence as soon as possible. The commencing salary is at Php80,000 per month and is negotiable depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience. The successful applicant will be entitled to medical health insurance and accident insurance, leave, allowance, uniform and option for live-in accommodation or live-out arrangements.
