Job Overview

We are looking for a Chef who will support Merit Stainless Steel in product testing, cooking demonstrations, and content creation. The ideal candidate is an experienced chef who is also active and comfortable on social media and can confidently demonstrate commercial kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product QAQC & Testing

• Conduct proper QAQC testing from the end-user perspective.
• Test commercial kitchen equipment through actual cooking and usage.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance, functionality, ease of use, and cooking results.
• Help identify possible product improvements or issues.

2. Cooking Demonstrations

• Conduct Merit cooking demonstrations for clients, events, showroom activities, and product launches.
• Demonstrate the proper use and application of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Prepare recipes and dishes that showcase equipment capabilities.
• Assist Sales in client demonstrations when needed.

3. Content Creation

• Create cooking videos and other food-related content for Merit’s social media platforms.
• Develop recipes and cooking concepts using Merit equipment.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera and explaining equipment and cooking processes.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team for content planning and production.

4. Product & Equipment Knowledge

• Learn and understand Merit’s commercial kitchen equipment.
• Provide practical recommendations based on actual kitchen experience.
• Help Sales and Marketing teams understand the proper application of equipment.

5. Events & Client Support

• Participate in trade shows, events, showroom activities, and client demonstrations.
• Conduct live cooking demonstrations when required.
• Support product presentations and other marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Professional Chef with relevant kitchen experience.
• Experience using commercial kitchen equipment.
• Good cooking and recipe development skills.
• Active on social media and comfortable creating or appearing in videos.
• Confident speaking and demonstrating in front of clients or an audience.
• Creative and willing to develop cooking content.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel for events, demonstrations, and client activities when required.

Key Role

The Chef will serve as a product tester, cooking demonstrator, and content creator, helping Merit showcase the actual performance and application of its commercial kitchen equipment.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php26,000.00 per month
