Experienced Chef for Greek Restaurant

Full-Time or Casual | Around $75,000 + super for Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our Greek restaurant, specialising in fresh seafood, grilled meats and traditional Greek-style dishes.

We are open to both full-time and casual applicants, depending on experience, availability and what arrangement suits the right candidate.

The Role

• Preparing and cooking Greek-style dishes
• Preparing fresh seafood and whole fish
• Grill and hot-section cooking
• Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
• Kitchen preparation and organisation
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Assisting with stock, food storage and minimising wastage
• Working closely with our small kitchen and front-of-house team

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with genuine professional chef experience who:

• Has previous experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
• Is confident and capable during restaurant service
• Has strong cooking and food preparation skills
• Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
• Works well independently and as part of a small team
• Has a good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene

Experience with Greek cuisine, seafood, whole fish or grill cooking would be highly regarded.

Hours & Pay

Both full-time and casual arrangements are available.

For a full-time position, salary is around $75,000 + super per year, depending on experience.

Casual hours and pay can be discussed based on experience and availability.

Shifts are afternoon/evening restaurant service, with approximately five days per week available for someone seeking full-time hours.
