Chef

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef with an interest in street food to join our epic team at Dunkerton's Park. You will work between our two residencies The Woozy Pig and Casa Loca Tacos. There will also be opportunities to work on-site at events in our food truck next year.

DUTIES:

• Prepare and serve food to a high and consistent standard following guidance and specs provided
• Maintain high levels of customer service
• Assist supervisors and managers with stock management including stock rotation, ordering lists, forward planning and food preparation
• Keep kitchens clean and tidy at all times, cleaning as you go and performing weekly deep cleaning according to guidance and specs provided
• Maintain personal hygiene at all times, washing your hands regularly - especially after eating, using the toilets or smoking/vaping
• Study and understand menu allergens so you may provide advice to customers
• Assist supervisors and managers with looking after casual workers on shift, giving them tasks and support where needed
• Prepare and store food in a hygienic way in line with food hygiene training
• Complete daily HACCP tasks using NCASS software

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in food production and cooking within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Excellent culinary skills with a passion for street food and presentation
• Prior experience in a kitchen/hospitality environment with a focus on customer service
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
