Koi Broadbeach is a modern Australian restaurant in the heart of Broadbeach and part of the Gennari Group hospitality portfolio. A local institution since 2006, Koi serves fresh, locally sourced food for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week, in a stylish, coastal setting with a stunning open kitchen. We are seeking an experienced, motivated and talented Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Qualifications | Experience | Tasks:

• Relevant experience (min. 2 years)
• Trade Qualifications in Commercial Cookery
• Ability to multi-task and have great time management skills
• Ability to maintain high standards under pressure
• Following hygiene and safety procedures
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and work efficiently
• Developing and maintaining service standards in a premium restaurant environment to ensure a world-class hospitality experience
• Preparing modern Australian dishes using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce
• Working confidently in an open kitchen in view of guests
• Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
• Prepping, portioning and cooking food
• Plating food with attention to detail

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
