About the role

As a Chef at Eclipse Brewery in Northam, WA 6401, you will play a vital role in crafting delicious, high-quality meals that complement our renowned range of craft beers. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment and contribute to the continued success of our growing hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients in an open a la carte kitchen
• Working alongside the Head chef in a small team to maintain high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining high food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Mentor and train junior kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality
• Participate in regular team meetings to share ideas and identify areas for improvement
• Assist with inventory management and order placement to keep the kitchen well-stocked

What we're looking for

• Certificate III Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification required
• Valid work visa or Australian work authorisation required
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Passion for creating unique, flavourful dishes using high-quality, fresh ingredients
• Familiarity with beer and food pairing principles
