Chef | Little’s Cronulla

Little’s is a beachside café in Cronulla serving great breakfast, lunch and coffee. We’re looking for a capable, passionate chef who takes pride in their food and enjoys working in a busy kitchen.

The role

You’ll work with our kitchen team to prepare and deliver consistently high-quality dishes, keep service running smoothly and contribute ideas to our menu.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting breakfast and lunch dishes.
• Managing daily prep and keeping your section organised.
• Maintaining consistency in taste, presentation and portion sizes.
• Assisting with ordering, stock rotation and waste control.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Contributing to specials and seasonal menu development.

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience as a chef in a busy café or restaurant.
• Strong cooking skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• A reliable, positive attitude and clear communication skills.
• A sound understanding of food safety practices.
• Availability for early starts and weekend shifts.
• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent experience.
