Chef

The owners of a well-run country pub are seeking a Chef, that can continue to deliver the food standards which are expected by the locals and visitors that return regularly due to the pub’s reputation in the area. The successful applicant will be expected to prepare, cook, plate food, work alongside other chefs during shifts and complete all tasks expected. Work alongside the head chef and sous chef to oversee the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and have excellent personal hygiene, and keep the kitchen at a 5 star hygiene standard.

Most importantly you will be joining a good team, in a relaxed working environment, which allows everyone to thrive.

Working closely with the head chef & team ensuring service times run smoothly and the kitchen paperwork is all up to date.

The menus consist of modern British pub style dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally.

Depending on experience you may be running food service on some shifts, ensuring the standards are maintained during busy peak seasons which sees the outdoor area being used also.
