Job Summary

Piranha Izakaya is looking for a dependable chef to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on cooking position focused on preparing Japanese food with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook Japanese dishes, including ramen, sushi and small plates.

Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.

Complete daily prep and keep your station stocked and organized.

Work efficiently during busy services and communicate with the kitchen team.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage procedures.

Help with cleaning, product rotation, and opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred.

Experience with Japanese cuisine is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.

Ability to follow directions, multitask, and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and a team-focused approach.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
