About the role

You'll be working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen where teamwork, consistency and a positive attitude matter. We're a hands-on team that gets our heads down, supports each other and gets the job done, especially during busy services. We're passionate about food and constantly looking for ways to improve. Every plate that leaves our kitchen should be something we're proud to serve.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to a high standard with pride in presentation, flavour and consistency
• Work efficiently under pressure without compromising food quality
• Maintain food safety, kitchen hygiene and daily kitchen operations
• Support team members and work collaboratively during busy services
• Work weekends, evenings, random split shifts, public holidays and long weekends
• Take feedback, learn and contribute positively to the team

About you

• Genuine passion for food, with pride in presentation, flavour and consistency
• Previous commercial kitchen experience, ideally in a busy restaurant or bar
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, random split shifts, public holidays and long weekends
• Flexibility with rostering and the ability to handle the challenges of a busy hospitality environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability and a team-first attitude
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure without compromising food quality
• Good understanding of food safety, kitchen hygiene and daily kitchen operations
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, improve and contribute positively to the team
