Job Summary

Prepare high-quality traditional Indian cuisine with expertise in North and South Indian dishes. Manage kitchen operations, supervise staff, plan ingredient procurement, maintain inventory, and innovate menus to meet customer requirements and uphold food standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare authentic Indian dishes, focusing on North and South Indian cuisine, ensuring traditional cooking methods and high quality

Able to cook dishes to suit various Indian customer types.

Apply knowledge of herbs and spices to enhance food flavor and authenticity

Ensure all dishes are freshly prepared and comply with established food quality standards

Manage daily kitchen operations, supervising and coaching junior kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and quality

Plan and organize ingredient procurement and preparation for upcoming service days

Interpret and fulfill customer orders accurately to meet their requirements

Develop and introduce new dishes and menu items to enhance customer experience

Monitor and maintain stock levels and inventory to ensure availability and minimize waste

Enforce stock rotation procedures to comply with inventory management best practices

Monitoring portions and waste control.

Capacity to work under pressure during the extremely busy period.

Flexible to work in any shifts, especially in split shifts.

The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.

Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
