Chef

Duties

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
• Manage and train kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
• Develop and maintain standard recipes and portion control to ensure consistent quality
• Monitor food preparation and cooking techniques to meet food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with the management team to create menus, plan special events, and manage inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service management or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, handling, and storage
• Familiarity with Spot On POS system or similar restaurant management software
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Culinary degree or certification is a plus
• Experience in catering or banquet operations is preferred
