Chef

Job Summary

We’re seeking a hands-on Chef to lead kitchen operations and deliver well-prepared, appealing meals. You’ll oversee food production, menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and service while guiding the team through each shift. Your impact: Consistent, safe food service helps guests enjoy a welcoming dining experience and gives kitchen staff clear direction.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus and coordinate food preparation, cooking, serving, and catering for restaurant, banquet, or fine dining service.
• Supervise, schedule, and support kitchen teams; coordinate with dietary staff to meet meal requirements.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control while maintaining food quality and reducing waste.
• Follow food safety, food handling, and sanitizing procedures; keep kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate kitchen and food service operations, including bartending duties when needed.

Experience

• Experience in a kitchen, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or food industry setting; culinary experience is valued.
• Supervising experience, team management, shift management, or experience managing teams as a chef.
• Background in food production, food management, kitchen management, food service management, or restaurant management.
• Experience with inventory management or inventory control, menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food safety.
• Banquet, catering, fine dining, dietary department, restaurant, or bartending experience is preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
