Junior Sous Chef / Chef de Partie

Panton Hill Hotel is looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team.

We are a high-volume venue operating seven days a week, serving quality modern pub food with a strong focus on fresh produce, consistency, and teamwork.

About the Role

Working closely with the Head Chef, you will:

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals across all service periods.
• Manage your own section and maintain exceptional food standards.
• Assist with ordering, stock control, and minimising waste.
• Help train and mentor apprentices and junior kitchen staff.
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials.
• Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• A positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
• Ability to perform under pressure during busy service.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• A genuine passion for cooking and producing quality food.
