About the role

We are seeking an experienced, energetic Chef to join our busy waterfront kitchen team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for producing fresh, vibrant food across Tapas, Mediterranean, and Modern Australian styles, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes across Tapas, Mediterranean, and Modern Australian menus to high standards.
• Efficiently run assigned kitchen stations during high-volume breakfast, lunch, or dinner services.
• Complete daily prep work, control station inventory, and minimize food wastage.
• Maintain strict standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
• Work collaboratively with the head chef and front-of-house team to deliver seamless service.

About you

• At least 2 years of experience working in a high-volume, busy kitchen environment.
• Solid experience preparing Tapas, Mediterranean, or Modern Australian cuisine.
• Strong knife skills, cooking fundamentals, and ability to handle high-pressure service with composure.
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a varied roster, including weekends, split shifts, and public holidays.
