About the role

AVLI Modern Greek Uluwatu' is seeking an experienced and talented Chef de Cuisine to join our team. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction in this exciting full-time role based in Badung, Bali.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and lead a team of skilled chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement innovative menu concepts
• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Monitor and control food costs and inventory to maintain profitability
• Foster a positive and productive work environment for the culinary team
• Provide hands-on culinary expertise and guidance to the kitchen staff
• Liaise with suppliers to maintain a consistent supply of high-quality ingredients

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or equivalent role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
• Proven track record of creating and executing successful menu concepts that showcase modern Greek cuisine
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a kitchen team
• Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations
• Proficient in cost control, inventory management, and financial reporting
• Passion for using high-quality, fresh ingredients and a commitment to sustainable practices
• Familiarity with the Bali hospitality and dining scene is preferred
