Chef De Partie - Bread / Bakery

Role & responsibilities

Must have experience in Bread , Bakery products, Cookies,etc

• Food Production: Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and viennoiserie to high standards.
• Quality Control: Ensure consistent taste, texture, appearance, and adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
• Station Management: Oversee the entire bakery section, including daily mise en place and production planning.
• Hygiene & Safety: Enforce strict food safety (HACCP) and sanitation guidelines, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper storage.
• Staff Supervision: Train, guide, and motivate junior bakers (commis) and support team members.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels, manage waste, and contribute to cost-effective practices.
• Equipment Management: Operate, maintain, and report malfunctions of bakery equipment (ovens, mixers).
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with Head/Sous Chefs and Front of House for smooth service.
• Operational Efficiency: Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and optimize cooking processes for speed and quality.
