CHEF DE PARTIE

About the role

We are looking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an assigned kitchen section, ensuring food is prepared and presented to the highest standards while maintaining consistency, quality, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, and plated desserts according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Organise and complete pre-service preparation (mise en place) to ensure the smooth operation of the pastry section.
• Monitor stock levels, track ingredient usage, and coordinate the ordering of supplies while minimising food waste.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work area in compliance with food safety requirements and SOPs.
• Ensure consistency in the quality, taste, presentation, and portioning of all pastry and dessert products.
• Assist in ensuring the pastry section operates efficiently during daily service.
• Support the Pastry Chef and kitchen team in maintaining smooth daily operations.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant pastry or baking experience.

• Certificate/Diploma in Pastry Arts, Baking, Culinary Arts, or a related field.

• Knowledge of pastry preparation, baking techniques, and dessert presentation.

• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about pastry and desserts.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
