Job Overview:

Exiting opportunity to work at The Swan Inn, Hanley Swan in Worcestershire. A gorgeous gastro-pub in a picturesque village just outside of Malvern, serving fresh and exciting food. You will have a range of duties including cooking and plating incredible locally sourced food that is not only full of flavour but also presented beautifully with care and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Run a section of the kitchen throughout service with minimal supervision, presenting high quality dishes quickly and efficiently
• Work well as part of the kitchen team to help service run smoothly. This includes working cohesively with the Front of House team
• Stay on top of food preparation and be responsible for the cleanliness of your section
• Maintain strict health and hygiene standards
• Partake in a climate of cooperation within the kitchen team and with members of the front of house team
• You will have the option to contribute ideas towards our menu with new or existing dishes

Experience & Requirements

• At least one year experience working as a chef in a busy restaurant or pub serving quality fresh food
• As we are in the hospitality industry you will be expected to work weekends, bank holidays and some days through the festive period
• You must be organised, able to multitask, and thrive in a fast paced environment
• Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate required

Other Info

• You will receive a share of all tips received on a monthly basis
• Please note we are not able to offer accommodation and public transport is limited so you will need to be able to commute reliably
• The contract and salary on offer is for 48 hours a week

Pay: £33,700.00-£37,500.00 per year
